Product Manager

PROBLEM :

Research shows that many Nigerians are not only unemployed but unemployable as their skills are largely divorced from labour requirements.

Meet Samson, a final year Computer Science student of the University of Benin, who plans to be a world-renowned software engineer in a reputable IT firm. 

Samson is quite frustrated with the educational standard in Nigeria and seeks to leave the country in search of better career opportunities. 

SOLUTION: 

we developed Pionera - an app that is designed to assess, mentor and connect individuals to career development opportunities.

PROCESS:

• Conducted qualitative research on over 10 potential users

• Defined the problem using the empathy quadrants.

• Interview more to validate our assumptions

• Went through ideation which included brainstorming and sketching.

• Designed user stories and mindmap.

• Wrote user stories and success criteria.

•  Designed MVP and roadmap.

• Designed wireframes.
